Exorex Lotion contains coal tar, an antipruritic and keratoplastic. It is a patented formulation containing the active ingredient coal tar solution (5% v/w) in a base containing a complex of esterified essential fatty acids. Tar acids have also been shown to have disinfectant properties. Exorex Lotion may be used alone, or as part of a more extensive treatment regimen
Fenistil contains penciclovir, which has demonstrable in vivo and in vitro activity against herpes simplex viruses (types 1 and 2) and varicella zoster virus. In virus-infected cells penciclovir is rapidly and efficiently converted into a triphosphate (mediated via virus-induced thymidine kinase)

Finn Chamber is a patch test device that provides good occlusion because of the chamber design. The 8mm inner diameter provides a 50mm² area and about 20µl volume. Finn Chambers are available mounted on Scanpor tape, Actavis Norway AS, Norgesplaster, with protective paper backing that is easily peeled away. The chambers are made of aluminium. Polypropylene coated chambers (8, 12, 18mm) and 12mm aluminium chambers are available for special purposes.
