Products

Metrogel

Metrogel contains 0.75% metronidazole, which is a topical antibacterial

Metvix Cream

After topical application of Metvix (methyl aminolevulinate), porphyrins accumulate intracellularly in the treated skin lesions. The intracellular porphyrins (including PplX) are photoactive, fluorescing compounds and, on light activation in the presence of oxygen, singlet oxygen is formed, which causes damage to cellular compartments, in particular the mitochondria. Light activation of accumulated porphyrins leads to a photochemical reaction and thereby phototoxicity to the light-exposed target cells

Miclaro Oat Cream

Miclaro Oat Cream

Formulated with naturally active colloidal oatmeal for the relief of dry and sensitive skin. The natural starches found in the oatmeal help cleanse and maintain the skin’s natural balance, soothing inflammation and redness, while the proteins and lipids contained in oats moisturise dry and irritated skin by preventing trans epidermal water loss. The lotion is easily absorbed, non-greasy and relieves dry and sensitive skin with regular use. The cream restores the epidermal barrier while soothing and relieving dry and irritated skin. Both the cream and lotion contain avena sativa kernel flour 1%, are fragrance free and are suitable for adults and children over the age of 3 months.

Microair Barrier Socks and Gloves

Microair barrier fabric prevents allergens/irritants from getting into contact with the skin but still lets it breathe. This is a tri-layered fabric, made of a knitted polyester microfibre in layers 1 and 3. The internal layer is a micro porous membrane (2) which allows the passage of water vapour and sweat whilst remaining waterproof, blocking the passage of allergens

Minocin MR

Minocin MR capsules contain the active ingredient minocycline as minocycline hydrochloride, which is a semi-synthetic derivative of tetracycline

Mirvaso

Brimonidine is a highly selective alpha2-adrenergic receptor agonist that is 1000-fold more selective for the alpha2-adrenergic receptor than the alpha1-adrenergic receptor. Cutaneous facial application of a highly selective alpha2-adrenergic receptor agonist reduces erythema through direct cutaneous vasoconstriction.

Mizollen

Mizollen contains mizolastine, which has antihistamine and anti-allergic properties due to a specific and selective antagonism of peripheral histamine H1 receptors.

MolluDab

MolluDab

MolluDab is used externally against molluscum contagiosum, a skin lesion caused by a virus. MolluDab causes cells which are affected by the virus to dissolve and thereby produces a defence reaction of the skin in the region affected by molluscum contagiosum.

Molutrex

Molutrex

Molutrex contains a stable solution of potassium hydroxide (also known as KOH). This agent breaks down the hard keratin surface of the skin. When painted onto the molluscum blisters this sets off an irritant reaction which stimulates the body’s own immune system to attack the virus. The virus is destroyed and the blisters heal.

Mycota

Mycota

An SLS free, 2-in-1 leave on emollient and wash that adds moisture to the skin for the relief of flaking dry skin conditions.
