Dermacolor

Dermacolor

An especially highly pigmented cream which is designed to correct and cover skin disfigurements, and discolorations. It is especially suitable for face and neck and with proper use of the Dermacolor Camouflage System, skin abnormalities can be easily corrected. Once fixed, it will be waterproof and protect the skin against damaging UV radiation. Can last even under extreme conditions, swimming, heat and physical strain.
It is available in over 200 highly pigmented shades and are intermixable which gives the make-up a natural appearance when applied correctly.

Dermacort

The cream formulation of Dermacort was developed in order to optimise the release and partition of its active ingredient, hydrocortisone, into the skin which is presented as a saturated or near saturated solution in aqueous propylene glycol, which represents the continuous phase of the emulsion system. It has been shown, by the vasoconstrictor assay on normal skin, that in this environment, a 0.1% concentration of the hydrocortisone is equivalent to the 1% concentration where the drug substance is in suspension. Clinical studies have confirmed that 0.1% Dermacort is equivalent to 1.0% hydrocortisone cream BP/BPC whilst the reduced strength of Dermacort increases the margin of safety.

Dermalex Rosacea

Dermalex Rosacea reduces the typical symptoms of rosacea by promoting the full restoration of the skin’s barrier function. It also protects the skin through special UV filters neutralising an important trigger in the appearance of rosacea and couperose symptoms. It restores the skin barrier, treating the rosacea symptoms, and fortifies the skin barrier, protecting from new flare-ups.

Dermalo Bath Emollient

DermaSilk are itch-reducing garments and tubular sleeve that are designed to treat pruritus and irritation caused by eczema, dry skin and dermatitis in adults and children, plus chemo and radiotherapy induced conditions and certain gynaecological conditions such as lichen sclerosus, lichen simplex chronicus and recurrent thrush. They are made from a unique combination of medical grade, fibroin silk, protected by a non-migrating antimicrobial that cannot be removed from the fabric. DermaSilk is designed to be worn as a long-term prophylactic and is not intended for wet or dry wrapping. Only a light amount of non-greasy emollient is required under it. The garments can be used in the presence of infection as they are not occlusive and have been tailored to ensure that they will last for as long as they fit the patient

Available in clear silicone gel sheets or fabric-backed silicone gel sheets

Dermax Therapeutic Shampoo

Dermax Therapeutic Shampoo contains benzalkonium chloride, which is adsorbed on to dry skin scales, these being a feature of pityriasis capitis and other seborrhoeic scalp conditions. The scales are loosened and attain a net positive charge. In the presence of the anionic foaming agent, sodium lauryl ether sulphate, the dandruff scales are then levitated into the negatively charged surface of the foam and washed from the hair. Benzalkonium chloride also acts as a mild antiseptic, which improves clinical performance when the condition is exacerbated by the presence of microbes. The major site of action against microorganisms appears to be the cell membrane, where permeability is altered

DermLite Carbon

The DermLite Carbon provides instant toggle control over lesion visualisation, from the superficial structures to deeper pigmentation, by activating two groups of LEDs, each with distinct polarisation. The first group of 8 LEDs produces cross-polarised light ideal for visualising deep structures, whereas the second set of 8 LEDs is linearly polarised, creating a clear rendition of the skin surface.

DermLite DL1 Basic

Oil-free dermoscopy, incorporating eight bright-white LEDs, 10x magnification and advanced cross-polarisation, to aid the early detection of melanoma by enhancing visualisation of pigmented skin lesions.
